To electric vehicles as a symbol of the new energy vehicles are listed as the national seven strategic emerging industries, which is China's new world economic and social development of the major strategic tasks. The bottleneck of the development of electric vehicles is the driving force as the driving force of the battery.
The safety problem is the main obstacle to the application and development of power battery. Due to the thermal stability of the cathode material, the existing power battery can only choose the cathode material with good thermal safety but lower energy than the energy, which restricts the development of the power battery.
The research on lithium-ion battery in this laboratory mainly lies in the following aspects:
(1)Research on Safety Performance Improvement for Key Battery System of Existing Power Batteries;
(2)Development of new high-power battery key materials;
(3)Research and development of high-energy density high-safety power battery new materials, the new system, a comprehensive solution to lithium-ion battery which is facing the problem of safety performance and energy density.
